The Challenge
Cleveland Ford was generating more than 1,100 repair orders per month, but their service-lane BDC was underperforming. Appointment confirmations were inconsistent, customer show rates were low, and vehicle sales generated from service traffic were not meeting expectations. The dealership needed a structured process to improve appointment commitment, increase show rates, and convert existing service traffic into vehicle sales without increasing advertising spend.
Our Solution
Worldwide BDC implemented a proven service-lane BDC system focused on three core areas:
Structured appointment confirmation workflows, including booking confirmation, 24-hour follow-up, and same-day appointment reminders. Commitment-based BDC scripting designed to increase customer intent and appointment attendance.
Real-time performance monitoring through the Worldwide BDC platform, allowing weekly optimization of show rates and sales performance.
This process was deployed immediately and integrated into Cleveland Ford's existing operations.
Results
Over a three-month period:
413 total appointments set 172 customer shows 38 vehicles sold Show rate improved from 37.8% in March to 49% in May Generated 38 vehicle sales directly from service-lane opportunities Achieved these results using existing dealership traffic with no additional advertising spend
The dealership saw consistent improvement in appointment quality and customer engagement, creating a stronger foundation for future growth.
